You may have seen the news report about the couple up North who were arrested for removing political yard signs. We have reports in Sunfish Lake of political yard signs being stolen.  This is a criminal offense.  In today’s world with all the surveillance cameras, yard sign thieves stand a good chance of being identified so please report any unauthorized yard sign removal to the police department.

We pride ourselves in SFL as being a good neighbor community.  As we enter this election season, while passion in your political beliefs is important in a democracy, so is respecting your neighbor’s passion if different from your own.
