IGH Clean Up Day

Residents of the City of Inver Grove Heights, West St. Paul, and Sunfish Lake are invited to dispose of unwanted items at our annual Clean-Up Day. Highway 110 Construction Project

Road closure details

The westbound closure on Hwy 110 between I-494 in Inver Grove Heights and I-35E in Mendota Heights is now underway. Over the next week you will continue to see some intersections closures.

Here is what you can expect:

  • Weastbound Hwy 110 closed between I-494 and I-35E
  • Charlton Rd. closed at Hwy 110
  • Sunfish Ln. will be a right in and right out  to and from eastbound Hwy 110
  • The home across from Sunfish Ln. will be local access only to and from their property
  • Carmen Ln/Crown Point neighborhood will be allowed to go west from their road to I-35E and will make a U-turn at the signal to access eastbound Hwy 110

The westbound highway will remain closed through fall.

Reminder

As of June 12, the contractor is utilizing nighttime hours (9 p.m.-5 a.m.). This work may include: removals, excavation/grading, installation/removal of shoring, and installation of a box culvert under Hwy 110. These nighttime activities are expected to continue through mid-September.

More about this project

This one-construction season project is expected to run though the fall of 2017. During that time, there will be pavement, signing and drainage improvements along with construction of a Dakota County pedestrian underpass.
